This Coalition was formed as a result of our School Boards, teachers, principals and the Ministry of Education keeping SECRETS. Our schools are also providing books for children that are not age appropriate. Please check our page about books Parents ask what is SOGI? Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity It is the whole new Sex Education curriculum. But when Parents send their kids to school they expect that schools will only show age appropriate books as well as age appropriate information. This has not been the case, and school boards have seen angry parents who want to see change.

We formed as a result of working with Parents for Parents rights and will continue on the same path and goals and start chapters in every city and province.

When has it ever been appropriate to have books with nudity and sex acts in them? When did it become the responsibility of our schools to give books to children about masturbation, or books about questioning their gender/sex.

What happened to girls who were tom boys, or boys who like to play with dolls. Why are they encouraged to question their sexuality without their parents present?

Did you know that if your child identifies as another gender, you the parent is not informed. Shouldn’t parents be made aware of what is happening to their children at school? Schools do not interfere when children are sick or suffer from a disability, why only for sexual identity? Children are suffering from Gender dysphoria in greater numbers. For some children, they are advised by other groups that they were born in the wrong body, and eventually encourage them to have surgery. This surgery is not reversible. To educate more parents about surgery we share Youtube videos such as Buck Angel or Scott Newgent who travels far and wide to share his story.

We ask that Parents Rights are respected, that mature content is not shown to young children, protect and to protect our Childs innocence

What rights do parents have?

According to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms Under Section 2(a) , parents have the constitutional right: (iv) to determine all aspects of their children’s education, including choosing a religious education. This right can be restricted when these decisions go against the best interest of the child.

According to the Toronto Star:

But there are caveats.

The website adds that court decisions have stated that “such activities can and must be restricted when they are against the child’s best interests.”

“The general agreement, that the best interests of the child should be the guiding principle for just about anything in relation to children, doesn’t mean it’s absolute — but it’s pretty high up there,” said Wayne MacKay, professor emeritus of law at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University.

The discussion often ignores that children have rights, too, said Jen Gilbert, a professor in the faculty of education at York University who researches LGBTQ issues in schools: “We’re so often talking about parents’ rights and not talking about parents’ responsibilities.”

The argument of parents is that as soon as their child is born they have the sole right to do what is best for their children. Their highest priority is to protect their children from being shown books that are not age appropriate.

Do you know how to search your childs school to see what kinds of books there are? Please check our Parents information tab to search for books in the GECDSB (Windsor, Ontario) as well as links to a much larger database that was collected by Pierre Barns, a father in British Columbia Please be advised that the material is very graphic and shows images from books that your childs school has.
