1 Million March 4 Children ~ our purpose

The purpose of the March was to bring attention to what is being taught in schools and to ask that only books that are age appropriate are in the classroom. We have included a search tool for our local school board, where you can look for the books and find out if they are in your Childs school and how you can ask for them to be removed.

Marchs will be held across Canada and large crowds are expected.

The last March was attended by thousands of families including their children. There was a BBQ and children activities.

This is a FAMILY EVENT, followed by a peaceful SILENT march. We will not be conversing with opposing groups. If they wish to speak to an organizer they can contact us directly. At the last event, it was attended by gays and lesbians as well as our featured speaker who is a transman Scott Newgent.

Education not indoctrination

Contrary to many media outlets, this March was not about Hate. CTV news wrote:

Protesters accused schools of exposing young students to “gender ideology,” and said parents have the right to know whether their children are questioning their gender identity. Counter-demonstrators, meanwhile, accused protesters of importing United States culture wars into the country and trying to deny students important lessons about inclusion and respect for gender-diverse people.

“Trans people — they exist in society, and they deserve inclusion, just like everyone else,” said activist Celeste Trianon, who helped lead a counter-protest in downtown Montreal, where police inserted themselves between the two factions outside the offices of Premier Francois Legault.

Books in school that are not age appropriate

The origin of parent groups is as a result of schools not listening to parents regarding inappropriate books as well as their secret policy. Parents are not told if their children choose a different gender identity at school. This information is kept private between the school and the child. Even bringing them to the attention of school boards did not work. You can search books at GECDSB (Windsor/Essex) for examples of books or through the website owned by Pierre Barns Exposing Sogi 123 Pierre Barns is a father in British Columbia who has put thousands of hours into researching the books in Canadian schools.
